Hii guys! How are you? I hope you guys are always happy and healthy. As you know I'm Aaron and today's topic is about announcements. Today I will tell you the definition, purpose, generic structure, language features, and of course the example of an announcement. ( Definition ) First of all we must know what is an announcement, so an announcement is a written or spoken statement in public or formal words containing information about an event that has happened or is going to happen so publicly people know what, when, and where is about. ( Purpose ) The purpose of an announcement is for giving people information about what has happened or what will happen. ( Generic Structure ) In the announcement text, there are four aspects of the structure of the text that must be known. The text structure of the announcement text includes : 1.Stating purpose, the text that contains what event will be held. 2.Stating day and date, (day and date realization) the text that contain...
